PHYSICAL & MENTAL

AGE. 24-29 ( mid/late-20s )
HAIR/EYES. he's bald as shit dude but his eyes are hazel
HEIGHT/WEIGHT. 7' unarmored, 7'4" armored; 230+ lbs unarmored, 500+ lbs armored
DETAILS/REFERENCES. maine is tall, broad, and well-muscled. he has various scars all over his body with ( depending on his canon point ) the most prominent scars covering his entire throat. as of the end of season 10, he has a tattoo of this symbol inked in black on the back of his head. his current pb is ricky whittle of the 100. one, two, three.

ALIGNMENT. chaotic neutral ( type 1 )
ASSESSMENT. final boss. like, final final final boss. living and breathing walking tank who literally chucks cars around like he's competing for the olympics. hella good soldier who's only occasionally insubordinate. holds grudges like a motherfucker. selfless, but only for the people he gives a shit about, and that's one short fucking list ( see: washington and carolina ). fears heights and needles. 1/4 human, 3/4 angry mountain lion. arrogant, merciless, volatile. wryly passive and agreeable when he's not pissed off or raring for a fight. moderately healthy but dry sense of humor. has a bad habit of killing all his friends so maybe don't be his friend ( please be his friend ).

HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT. in his armor, maine weighs over 500 pounds and measures in at a terrifying 7'4". he can easily overwhelm most of his opponents with brute force and is capable of effortlessly lifting cars and tanks and casually throwing them as if they were plastic frisbees. despite his massive size, he's quick on his feet and has excellent reflexes.
WEAPONS COMBAT. maine is a heavily trained ( and often heavily armed ) soldier and as such, he can both wield and operate a wide array of weapons and explosive devices with middling to great success.
PHYSICAL RESILIENCE. over the course of the series, many people have attempted to kill maine and ( almost ) all of those attempts have failed. he can take an unbelievable amount of damage before he goes down and will often keep fighting even after sustaining grievous injuries that would cripple or kill the average human/soldier.

in addition to his special ops training and weaponry finesse, he seems to be quite proficient with technology. he can work his way around unfamiliar systems and security protocols with relative ease and was once shown intercepting and hacking a radio transmission from an enemy character.

SHIPPING/KINKS. within his canon, i only ship maine with wash and carolina, and for the most part i'm really not interested in exploring pairings outside of that very narrow bubble. for cross-canon, i'm completely open. i play maine as bisexual with little to no interest in long-term romantic relationships. he works best against characters with a background similar to his own (re: soldiers, mercs, warriors, etc.). please see here for a noncomprehensive list of kinks/hard nos.

OPT OUT.

maine, and especially the meta, is a very volatile and often unpredictable character with extremely violent tendencies. depending on his canonpoint he's also dealing with a lot of mental trauma irt his ai sigma and other ai he's scavenged from the armor of dead freelancers. i don't typically tag out with him for these reasons.
